I’ve always dreamed of owning my own bookshop. A few years ago, I nearly made it happen, but I realised that to keep the doors open, I’d have to sell popular books that aren’t always the best and miss out on stocking the great ones that might not sell as well. So, instead of browsing the physical shelves of ‘Our Long Walk Bookshop’, I present to you the (somewhat eclectic) twenty-four books on display on my virtual front-of-shop bookshelf, arranged chronologically. Each book comes with an AI-generated billboard summary in italics.
